Dance Team
Denver Dhadak began in 2022 as a small group of dancers looking to share their love for Bollywood dance with the Denver area. It has since evolved into multiple dance teams to offer performance opportunities to all levels of dancers. Whether you are a beginner looking to explore and grow as a performer or a seasoned dancer with a wealth of experience, Denver Dhadak has a dance team for you!
Adults Team
The Adults Performance Team is open to all levels of dancers and offers participants a way to learn fun choreographies, grow as a performer, and ultimately perform on stage! This team is suitable for beginners (with no or limited experience in dance) and advanced dancers alike. Rehearsals are held weekly for the season and choreography is broken down and practiced at a pace that is comfortable for the group. As rehearsals progress, instructors will set formations and review how to “perform” in preparation for taking the stage. The season closes with a showcase of what you've learned at a public event!

- Weekly rehearsals will be held on Mondays at 7:30 pm in Aurora, CO
- Rehearsals are 90 mins weekly
- Rehearsals begin week of Sept 14th and will continue through Oct 2026
- We expect you to be rehearsing on your own between rehearsals
- Stage performance is targeted for late October (Date/Time/Location TBA)
- Team Fees cover rehearsals and team apparel (excludes performance registration and costumes)
- Advanced level dancers may be invited to additional rehearsals for more advanced level choreography that will be incorporated into the performance (optional, invite only)
- If you have known travel or outages, please let us know now so we can plan our rehearsal schedule accordingly. Missing 1 or 2 rehearsals should not be an issue, but if you are missing more, this will impact the team overall so will need to be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Teens Team
The Teens Team is open to dancers age 13-18 and is suitable for all level dancers (beginners and more experienced level). Participants will attend weekly rehearsals to learn fun choreographies, grow as a performer, and ultimately perform on stage. Rehearsals are held weekly for the season and choreography is broken down and practiced at a pace that is comfortable for the group. As rehearsals progress, we will add costumes, formations, and get the group ready for stage! The season ends with a showcase of what you've learned at a public community event.
